Big Band
Swing, jazz, perhaps a little improv. Big Band is the Music Players' Society's larger jazz ensemble playing the highlights of the Golden Era with a focus on written arrangements.
The MPS Big Band is back and bigger than ever. With a full set of dedicated musicians and well over two hours of varied material, we're confident we can cater to any request; be it set you boogieing to Jungle Boogie and Sing Sing Sing, to serenade you with classic Sinatra and Nat King Cole, or to satisfy your jazzy palate with Count Basie and Mingus we can do it all!
Our flexible band allows us to change to fit your needs and we look forward to playing for you.
