OUR BANDS
With bands covering a range of styles - from classic jazz and melodic blues, to rock and funk - there's something to interest all musicians at the Music Players' Society (MPS). We welcome students and postgrads from both Sheffield universities and we don't audition - so everybody is welcome.
UPCOMING PERFORMANCES
Come and see us play! During term time, all of our bands have a weekly rehearsal in 38 Mappin Street. In addition, our bands regularly perform all over Sheffield.

GET INVOLVED
We put on a range of live performances throughout the year - at venues ranging from bars and nightclubs to the ballrooms at Sheffield City Hall. With regular weekly rehearsals, there's always a band to come along to in your free time, and with our international tours we also give our members the opportunity to perform all over Europe.
